MS. Linda ruminski

Kindergarten Teacher

Ms. Ruminski received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Dame College and a Masters of Education from Cleveland State University. Outside of school, Linda enjoys spending time with her family and my two dogs.

Ms. Judy Godfrey

1st Grade Teacher

Ms. Godfrey has a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Frostburg State University. Prior to her working at Virtual Schoolhouse, Judy worked in State of Maryland where she taught Kindergarten, Second & Third grades, and an Orton-Gillingham Spelling/Reading/Writing program to small groups of students in 2nd-5th grades. In addition she was a long term substitute teacher state of California and a CELDT (certified ELD test examiner). Ms. Godfrey has a passion for sports and is a volunteer Girls’ Softball & Soccer Coach.

MS. Kristin Day

K-4 Reading Specialist

Ms. Day graduated from Heidelberg University and is currently a graduate student at Notre Dame College, where she is completing her Master’s in Education with a focus in Reading.  She also obtained her K-12 Reading Endorsement in 2014. Upon graduation from college, Ms. Day was the Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center. The year before joining Virtual Schoolhouse, Ms. Day was a long term substitute at Broadmoor School, which is part of the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Ms. Day enjoys reading and taking classes that pertain to her position to better enhance her knowledge on working with special education students.

MS. Lori raskin

K-2 Intervention Specialist

Ms. Raskin has a Bachelors in Science in Developmentally Handicapped from University of Cincinnati and a Masters in Early Childhood Special Education from Cleveland State University. Ms. Raskin’s previous work experience included working for a Fire Sprinkler Company and substitute teaching. Ms. Raskin likes to cook, read, and enjoy a variety of genres of music. She enjoys bringing her musical interests into the classroom and has cooked with students.
