Wilson Reading System and Fundations
Wilson and Fundations are remedial reading programs based on the principles of the Orton-Gillingham Methods. This system teaches skills to students using the multi- sensory approach, in a sequential order for both reading and writing. Fundations and Wilson Programs are phonics based reading programs based on building on previous skills.
Wilson Fundations at Virtual Schoolhouse
Wilson Fundations teaches phonics through reading, writing, listening, and speaking. It is a fun way to quickly identify letter patterns and sounds. The students enjoy the hands on approach to reading. The students' progress is measured through regular assessments after each unit. The program is easily adaptable for Special Needs Children.
