Education:

I graduated from Myers University, formerly Dyke College August 14, 1964.

Major field of study was in Business Administration receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.

I became a certified public accountant in the state of Ohio in 1993.

I attend seminars in the field of accounting as required by the State to further my education.

 

Work experiences:

April 1975 through December, 2004:   General Electric

Primary duties included closing the financial books monthly and analyzing the financial results and presenting various reports to the management.   In addition updating and verifying cost data to help in pricing strategies. 

Planning and running the annual physical inventory for two locations.

I retired from General Electric in December 2004.

I am a volunteer at Richmond Hospital in the Ambulatory Surgery unit.

I am on the home owner’s association board at Richmond Place and Treasurer of said organization.

I am Financial Secretary of the Forest City Hebrew Benevolent society.

For the past 24 years, I have had a part time accounting practice.   My functions include preparing annual tax returns for individuals and small corporations and partnerships.   In addition, I prepare payroll tax returns for several small businesses and maintain books of records.

 

1966 to 1975:   Cole National Corp

Primary duties including preparing monthly financial statements.

Responsible for the annual physical inventory.

Left the company due to cut backs in staff.

 

Hobbies and Interests:

Bowling, swimming, fishing, attending live theatre, tennis and reading.
